It's tough to watch them get older. Two years ago I flew back from Utah to visit my dad who was in a nursing home in the Amana's before he passed about a year and a half ago. Mom soon followed about a year later. It's strange how that happens a lot when parents pass shortly after one of them passes.

Statistics indicate the average life span in a nursing home is two years.

That's why I refuse to let my dad go to nursing home because he's blind and 88, my wife and I take care of him along with his grand kids.

Wrong coach, that was Hayden Fry. In fact Hayden would have taken Gron out at the end of the third quarter. He always looked for an opportunity to get reps for the younger inexperienced player just in case an injury happens and the backup needs to step in a take the reigns.
