Agreed...I am curious to see if the next QB in-line can more effectively run slow-mesh and RPO stuff, though. That has not been Gronowski's strength, and potentially next year it could be an important part of what we do if we have the right QB. Let's get up by 4 TDs so Hecklinski can practice some of that in the 4th quarter!

Some of you guys are acting like this is a crazy idea. I mean Kirk let a goddamn tight end play QB for a couple series in a bowl. Not exactly a crazy idea to let your ascending QB2, who is actually more familiar with the offense and a better passer than QB1, prepare a couple weeks to run some plays he has been practicing for two years now.

If I'm MG I'm gonna offer to let Hecklinski take the first three series of the 2nd quarter. Mark can put his shades on, fire up a cigar, and kick back on the bench stress-free for a half hour or so. Come back after half and go out there for the sunset ride.
