Iowa, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon and TCU. Jenica is a 5* prospect out of Johnston Iowa. 5ft. 10 shooting guard and I'm hoping she'd like to stay close to home.
Jenica Lewis has named her top five colleges.

It'd be pretty huge to keep her home that's for sure. McKenna Woliczko is visiting this weekend and is expected to make her decision shortly after. Since we didn't get Harpering I'd say Iowa is all in on trying to get these two to pair with Addie Deal and the twin towers we got in Heiden and Hays. The present and the future is looking really bright for Iowa hoops

Listened to a POD with Kyle Huesman and he thinks McKenna is going to be a Hawk. He sounds pretty confident that she'll let the coaches know within a week or so and be a silent commit for awhile before she publicly announces it. Addie Deal did it similarly too. That feels like quite the domino starter for recruiting with Lewis coming up and I want to say they had 5 other top recruits lined up for visits in Sept.
This could very likely be the best class they've ever had. And that's saying something with what they just had last yr. I think the world of Deal Hays & Houston and they haven't played yet. Fingers crossed

Has Iowa's recruiting EVER been this strong? Iowa seems to have 4-5* players frequently visiting. Talk about he CC effect. The run of the Iowa teams those two years is proving to be so valuable.
There's a 5'7 guard in the 27 class I've seen highlights of that has kinda blown me away Payton Starwalt she's from Washington state. She looks like the perfect upgrade to replacing McCabe. This girl can shoot and from CC range she's not shy. She has a handle. She's just not very big/athletic or explosive as an athlete. If she was 5'11 and 20 lbs bigger and stronger she'd be a 5 star. Keep an eye out for that name

I had the same reaction... I'm sure the staff knows all about her but I don't think they've offered her yet. I get the feeling she'd commit almost on the spot if we did. I think she'd be fun as hell to have be on the team. Even if she's a defensive liability yadda yadda. Shooting like that is just fun. I just don't want to see us playing against her...HOLY SMOKE
