Iowa typically has a stout defense that carries the team and annually struggles on offense in at least one position or another or the coaches play calling. They can just never get it completely correct on offense and struggle. It is what holds this team back from great seasons. The D has always been consistent and keeps Iowa in every game.
In contrast, Iowa's basketball team typically has enough offense to win games but struggles horribly on defense each and every year. The reason Iowa loses most games. The offense is among the leaders in conference but he defense is typically at the bottom. They just can't get the defense right.
If either gets corrected, each team would have vastly different outcomes for their seasons. GET IT CORRECTED!
