Status on Alaric Jackson?

the scary part is they said after he was riding the bike and just couldn't get his knee right. and then didn't come back out for the 2nd half. on a brighter note, with a few snaps not with standing oline was pretty awesome today.

I guess he jogged off the field and if true one theory is the medical staff wouldn’t have let him do that if they thought it was an ACL or MCL. That sounds right to me. We’ll see.

At this point I Hope it is a sprain and he misses the Rutgers game to get well. Fortunately we have enough talent to plug and play. It is unfortunate and hurts a little bit by we can overcome just can’t have many more on the line

I would think if it’s a sprain it’s an ACL sprain which would be 2 months. And if so he may decide to shut it down if he think he’ll get drafted high enough.

Many guys can do that with a torn ACL even. Not saying that's what it was, but it's possible.
Now this post makes sense. If Tiger Woods can win a US Open with a torn ACL an elite athlete could certainly run off the field with one. Of course his season is likely over if he did tear it. Next time your community has a 5k or 10k or half marathon go to the starting line where the elite runners are lined up. I will guarantee you at least 25% of them have injuries that would shelve an offensive lineman trying to play football.

Like everything else, we will have to wait for the MRI. And hope Kallenberger or Plumb are ready to go. I like Kallenberger, liked him last year when he filled in.

I am not a doctor, but I am going to play one now. :)

Based on the replay it looked like he hyperextended his knee. Hyperextended knee take about a month to recover from?
And you say you ain't no doctor? Nice evaluation!

I read that after jogging off he jumped on a stationary bike. I can’t imagine they would allow that if a tear was even a possibility. I’m guessing strain but that will still put him out for a couple months at best.
