Wrestling Report out with first rankings of 2010/11







I guess this is to be expected with all of the unknowns. It would be surprising if none of the young guys step up and finish higher than these rankings. Most weights we have someone ranked in the teens or higher.
 


Those don't look too bad for the first rankings of the year. Iowa can't expect too much more than that for the start of the season with a lot of unproven guys. That said, I think that a majority of them will finish higher than those rankings and I do think that E Lofthouse and Rasing are rated a little low.

Don't see Kerr @ 157 either do we? I'm all for it but can't imagine that cut again.
 


Its about what I expected. I love it! GREAT MOTIVATION for the Hawks. This team WILL NOT finsh there. It will be VERY tough to beat Cornell & Oky State but it is possible guys!!! The biggest suprise to me is how low Raising is ranked. A few other things that jump out at me is Sponseller at 57 and Reader at 174. I'll also take Bouroughs over Howe just my opnion. It will be interesting how 174 & 184 shakes out. Both Lofthouse and Gambrall could make a serious run!!! Gambrall has the potential to be special if he wants and Lofthouse is going to open some eyes next year! Don't hit the panic button guys they will be fine.
