My only concern about the 3pt shooting is that there is really only going to be 4 main options. Those 4 options are pretty good ones in my estimation. Moss from what I’ve read can get hot in a hurry. He will get a lot more chances this year, as will Ellingson.
It would be nice if we could get a few out of a few other guys. Whether it be Uhl, Dailey, Kriener, or one of the other bigs.

Yeah JBo, Baer and Ellingson all shot over 40% last year...Moss shot 37%. So the ability is there. They have 220+ three pointers from Jok to replace though, so consistency will be key.

They won’t shoot as many 3s this year. I’d nearly guarantee that. Cook, Pemsl and Garza will eat up half those 220 shots I’d bet. It will make the looks they do have from 3 better looks. Half of those will be JBo I’d bet.

I agree that Iowa will be more of an interior focused team this year than they were last year, but I wouldn’t be so certain on the drop off in 3s being steep.
Not only did Jok take a lot of 3s, he also shot a lot of 2s (246 2 point shots attempted).
Look at this. The number of 3pts attempted as a percentage of total shots for the four guys that will get the majority of Jok’s minutes.
JBo - 70% of shot attempts 3s
BE - 61% of shot attempts 3s
Baer - 57% of shot attempts 3s
Moss - 40% of shots attempts 3s
Jok - 47% of shot attempts 3s
So I wouldn’t be surprised to see those guys continue to hoist a lot of 3s, and there will be plenty of Jok’s 2pt shots to be replaced by Cook, Pemsl, and Garza.

Excellent point re the 2pt attempts. I suspect Moss will eat up a chunk of those 2pt attempts. I cant see JBo or BE taking many 2pt shots. I’d love it if JBo could do that. If he can, this it elevates both his game and this team’s ceiling to level Iowa hasn’t seen since the mid-80s.
Keeping the scoring pressure balanced among players and through the entire efficienct scoring zones (3s and layups/dunks), makes Iowa that much harder to slow down.

When I look at the list of players, Cook could be the best as a sophomore between the teams. Can he be better than Marble, who was the best player on that team, time will tell. Overall, I like how this year's squad won't be reliant on one person as the other squad was with Marble. I cite the games Jok missed, I don't remember many complaints about defense during those.
This year's squad can be special, but what makes it really exciting is that they are so young and as someone pointed out, they have a lil swagger to them. A little swagger is a good thing as long as they remain hungry.
