Garza starts, nobody else has his body or center skills around the basket, Wagner will play a lot at first, coach is pushing D this year. Baer will come off the bench lead the second unit with Kreiner and possible Pemsl. It will be a second unit that could extend the lead or bring the team back from deficits. Uhl will only play if he hits the 3. He is not a strong rebounder, defender, or passer/driver. Just think Nudge will red-shirt with the glut at the 4. Only will play a lot if he hits his 3. Cook, Bo, Garza, Moss, Wagner start. Quick hooks for bad defense by Mac this year.
 


As badly as football stinks this year, can’t wait for some Iowa hoops! Hope we put a big ol’ ass-whoopin on that team to the West!

The nunge red shirt I don't think makes sense. Only uhl is graduating so if you red shirt this year it's not like spots will open up next year. When moss redshirted it was because Clemmons and gessel and jok had the guard spots locked down but two of them were graduating so it made sense to red shirt moss. I don't think that's the case with nunge.

Maybe Fran offers him that option but my guess is Fran goes into the non conference playing everyone and seeing who earns playing time.

I was certainly going to pay the $10 for BTN+ but have learned today that the Cayman Islands Classic will Not be televised other than through FloSports which costs $30 a month. They have a new agreement with BTN+ so they will carry the Hawkeye games scheduled on BTN+ and the CIC.....

I did find this verifying that they will have the Hawkeye game this Friday against William Jewell.

Probably going to subscribe to FloSports for a month, then cancel. I checked out FloSports and there were many complaints about canceling. Might buy a disposable credit card and use it for FloSports.....

That will cost about 3/4 dollars a game. I can live with that.....

I am going to watch each and every Hawkeye Basketball game, whatever it takes.....

I will call FloSports to see if they have a free trial. They did last year, but can't find anything for this year. If they do I will pay BTN+ ten dollars, and then use the free trial for the CIC, then immediately cancel both services.....

I just signed up for a month of FloHoops, as that comes with BTN+ access, in anticipation for tomorrow nights exhibition. The nice things is you get all B1G games, instead of just Iowa for those who want to catch some other B1G hoops.
 


wait wait wait - so you think I need to get FloHoops instead of BTN+? If I get FloHoops instead, I will get all the BTN+ games as well as the Cayman Island Classic?

Please clarify, but I think this is how you guys laid it out.

Flohoops you get all the BTN+ games. Or at least that is the claim. :)

Seriously though I'm 99% sure they do. I signed up for FloHoops and it shows I can watch MSU exhibition tonight and Iowa's tomorrow.
 




also - i really liked being able to go back and watch games after completion - i wonder if I can do that with Flohoops? this has really thrown a wrinkle in my plans :) But I don't want to just throw away money even if its not THAT much

If they don't have an app, you can always connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to the TV, then go to the HDMI input on your TV and all should be good.,,,,,

Says on their sign up site that they do offer games on demand, so you might be able to watch the replays. Not certain that they will have all games on demand though. I like to watch the replays also.....

Flohoops has an AppleTV app, I already downloaded it.
 


Flohoops App added to my Iphone - I am good to go... ya know the crappy thing... is that Dec 29th BTN+ game with Northern IL really throws a wrench in the 30 day subscription
