Awesome Wisconsin Article on Jo Bo!

I guess I didn't realize that Jbo may have had any interest in going to Wisconsin. From what I thought I remembered hearing was Iowa was his one and only place he was hoping to get an offer from. We didn't exactly offer him right away either as he wasn't Iowa's first choice. But yeah if Wisky would have jumped in at some point with an offer it sounds like it may not have been so cut and dry he'd have been a Hawk. Sure glad he is

"Three Big Ten freshmen have produced 125-plus assists and 60-plus 3-pointers in a season: Michigan’s Daniel Horton, Ohio State’s D’Angelo Russell and Bohannon.

Two freshmen in the country have at least 65 3s and 125 assists: UCLA’s Lonzo Ball and Bohannon."

Douchebag!

“It worked out for him to be able to play there close to home and he’s obviously made the most of it,” UW coach Greg Gard said. “He’s had a great opportunity there because of what they lost from last year and has gotten a lot of experience early that maybe your typical freshman doesn’t have the chance to get.”

He grew up as a Badger fan, had they offered it's possible he wouldn't be playing for Iowa right now. The only reason why I say "it's possible" because Iowa did have a lot to offer in terms of playing time since we were replacing Gesell.

We say he has ice in his veins, which makes perfect sense after you think about it. He's played against D1 talent all his life playing against his brothers. Explains why he doesn't get too rattled and keeps his head.

Speaking of Jason and Zach, it was great to see them pumped when JBo hit the game winner....

Hey, Greg, so what's it going to feel like when the Hawks kick your ass in the tourney next week? The only thing sweeter would be for the committee to send Wisconsin to the NIT and give Iowa an at large bid....hell yeah

I believe the era of Wisconsin being good is over. They have 4 good players IMO and 3 will be out of eligibility after this year. And the 4th can't make FTs.

They didn't appear to have much talent in the fold either. I don't think Greg is near the coach Bo was. I don't see us losing to Wisconsin for the next few seasons.
