Husker WR Coach Popped for DUI, 3rd time

Is there a chance McQuitty reconsiders his commitment? We don't know what will happen to Williams, but if he has significant jail time or even the loss of his job...

TIme to pick up the phone and contact McQuitty (4 star WR prospect) who had his final 2 as NE and IA before giving his verbal to NE back in March.

This is my favorite line

"It’s unclear whether Williams had an offense in Nebraska."

Yeah that seemed odd. With so much of the court system online these days, it doesn't seem like it should be difficult to determine if these offenses occurred in Nebraska, or where they happened (and when).

I'm all for people getting help and getting their lives straightened out. But if he's had 3 DUI's in the last 5 years, how do you justify keeping him on? Wouldn't any player be removed from a program if he had 3 DUI's while on campus? I would think so.

He'll be suspended the first game, vs. McNeese St. or whoever they play, then be ready to go week 2. It's how college football works.

I don't understand why the lady called the cops because he had Blue Cross/Blue Shield for insurance? Did she work for a rival company or something?

I think you might be missing the pun
