No it is not just you as this board for August is pretty dead. Maybe people are afraid to post because they think they might jinx the hawks. Maybe there are just no stories coming out of August camp and Fort Kinnick.

I think we will see a lot more discussion after the kids day open scrimmage.

I think it's a case of fan demand outpacing supply right now, everyone just wants a reason to talk Hawks!

Not much to talk about right now. Potential lineups have been hashed and rehashed. Season predictions have been made and discussed. No recruiting activity going on right now. It's the lull before the storm!

Well till the recent is CJ hurt or isn't he deal there really hasn't been much to banter about. The lineups are pretty well set except the 2nd string WR and TEs. Which is a great thing. Usually it's only bad news if there is news being broke now. Once games start up and story lines start to shape the boards will be lighting up like Christmas trees.

There's no quarterback controversy, no fire Kirk Ferentz and not many cyfan trolls coming over to claim how bad they're going to beat the Hawks. The first couple of items dominated the board the last few years.

I know we are a few months away from the season opening up but there usually is some chatter over there of some kind. I keep hoping Fran lands a big fish point guard so we have something to talk about on the basketball side.

I am with you with the 'no news is good news'.......Imo, the board is dead for other reasons than it is mid-August. I am just pumped I am ready for football season.
