This has to be wrong. Wasn't Iowa & NW pretty much the last two teams in O in the BIG going into yesterday's games?

Conference Only stats, which IMO are more relevant since in general, the level of competition is more similar than team's Out of Conference schedule.

Yes we will see how these hold up over the final 4 weeks. Conference-only ranks are a bit more weighty. Nebraska and Wisconsin are 1-2 in defensive points allowed in conference play, so Iowa has some tough work ahead. Nebraska has played some pretty "meh" offenses in conference other than Michigan State (Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern and Rutgers). They still have a good defense, they've done what they should against those offenses. Badgers' defense appears to really be hitting stride the last two weeks (0 to Rutgers and 7 to Maryland) after giving up 28 points to Illinois (although Illinois scored two garbage-time TD's to make the game respectable).

Top 4 teams in the West all feel like they can win the division, or at least they should. Basically a round-robin here over the next 4 weeks.

The stats are relatively close so can fluctuate from week to week, especially when teams are on bye for a week. So, I guess it's no surprise. But Iowa being first in passing O surprises me along with the rushing.

Agreed...that's why I care less about ranking on the side and more about the raw numbers. Had you told me before the season started that Iowa's worst offensive output in conference so far would be 420 yards, I would have said you were crazy after what we saw in OOC play.

Sample size of 4. Half way through BT play. Iowa has scored more points against Big Ten opponents than against little sisters of the poor.

The offense is really rolling! Iowa also leads the Big 10 in kick off return average at 26.5 yards, and 3rd in pass defense efficiency 101.4. This is turning into a great all around team!
