Hawks opened -13.5 ahead of the ISU game and didnt play with any fire.
Purdue not very good but like ISU you cant sleepwalk thru the game.
Hawks need to play 60 minutes of on fire football.
I think the loss to ISU again was a hard lesson that may have woke these guys up.
The coaches need to stretch the field on offense, spread it side to side in the 10-20 yard area, and not just short checkdowns, and pound the running game.
The defense I think will be ready from the get go and be wound up for big 10 opener. Tackling has been mostly good, dont let purdue run the ball and jump all over their main pass plays.
Go hawks, big win by 10+ points.
