Now busted for shoplifting crab legs from Publix market. Well, look at the bright side... it's a step down from rape.

The FBI is now investigating if a coverup by campus and city police did occur. To bad he wasn't to found to Rape anybody dipstick.
Someone remember this for post of the year. I don't want it being forgotten since we're only in May (starting tomorrow)...and...
I still can't figure out why this is major news. As far as crimes go, this is about as minor as it gets.

It's actually pretty important for anybody who cares about him. He could have a bright future but he's stealing crabs? I think he's ********. I'm not using ******** in any other way but if you tested his intelligence, he would be ********.
No rational thinking person thinks that this guy is just having bad luck, he's trouble.
If you remove the rape case, is he still acting like an idiot that needs to grow up? Sure. But it's not worthy of national headlines, if that's the case. The rape case really isn't relevant if he's innocent. If he did do it, then who the **** cares about crab legs?
Either way you slice it, this incident isn't something we should be talking about, outside of making fun of it and posting hilarious gifs.
It shows that he is an idiot and and a thief. If I walked in your house and stole from you would you just laugh it off? If you really think that stealing is no big deal just give me your address so I can come over and decide what I want to take.
I would expect you to press charges. But I wouldn't expect to be plastered all over ESPN because I stole some food out of your fridge. The crime was wrong, I've never once said it wasn't. But the coverage is WILDLY overblown.
I get that he won the Heisman and he's an alleged rapist. But hell, the latter alone should render something like this pretty ******* insignificant. It doesn't warrant the top story on the NCAAFB section of ESPN, much less a story that counts the appalling crime of stealing soda from Burger King on his rap sheet and frames it as a coming of age saga. I say that for two reasons:
Possibility 1: He didn't rape that girl and he's guilty of nothing more than small-time, college-kid-being-stupid things and needs to grow up, but it doesn't need to be discussed at length in the national media.
Possibility 2: He did rape that girl, in which case there are far bigger things about Winston to worry about than crabs or soda.
