Seriously. this sucks balls, but Whitey busted his butt tonight. The way the stupid announcers were talking about Niang all night, you woulda thought he was Karl Malone, but all White did was outscore him and throw in 17 REBOUNDS!!!

Yup. Great point in all the doom and gloom in here. If Basabe and McCabe show up tonight that would have helped. White is my favorite player, congrats to him.

At the beginning of this season, I was worried about losing Marble this spring.
Now, I'm just as optimistic for next season with White coming back.

Great game for White. Niang is a stud too and could be even better if he hit the weight room instead of the buffet line. Maybe he is trying to keep that azz big so he can continue to plow his way through defenders?

They were talking up White an awful lot, too. Like, a lot.

talking him up like clone fans do. "wow, he is better than I thought he would be."

They said multiple times that they hadn't seen him in person before. And the color guy said White was the best he's seen when talking about multiple parts of Aaron's game.

McCabe had his worst game in an Iowa uniform, can't believe how many people missed that. But Aaron played great, love watching him play. Thought Woody played pretty good and logged quite a few minutes before fouling out.

The announcer said this was the first time seeing White in person, I think he meant seeing him play, ever.

Like I said in the game thread. It was obvious the guy has watched no film of Iowa in the last two years when he said Woodbury needed to dunk that missed layup.

Who missed it?

The Woodbury line was solid proof he hasn't seen Iowa at all the last two years. Anyone can do his job, he says one stat here and there and gives segways for the other announcer. Less make up, more watching film of teams your announcing for.

No issues with basabe... I mean he didn't do anything great but didn't hurt us.

McCabe on the other hand forced shots, turned it over with an offensive foul and hit none of his shots. Tough night for him which I'm sure is tough for a senior to have his last memory against the instate rival go down this way.

Great point about Basabe.
