I agree that the morning show sucks (most of that is on Tim), but I think that the new Sound Off has been a surprise. Travis seems to be completely different on that show than he is on the morning show. Ross is real good too. I know that this will be unpopular but there would be multiple times where I would absolutely cringe listening to Z stepping over everyone and then throwing in a comment about a game from the 60's. I know that Jon is the facilitator of this site, but he came off a little smug on the show too. Probably easy to do given the tone of the calls last year. Anyway I wouldn't be so quick to rush to judgment based on 10 minutes of listening.

Yeah, Travis is not an Iowa fan but he is not anywhere near as bad when he doesn't have Fisher to drag the conversation to missouri valley girls soccer.

Travis and Ross are both Hawkeye fans...been mentioning it on the morning show since its inception (bad on them for not having the trophy games memorized though...that ranks up there with fans who don't know the fight song). We all knew the show wouldn't be the same without Z and The Diesel, but it hasn't been the train wreck I thought it could be. I'm just glad this is a point of complaint after 5 games instead of how bad the football team sucks...it's refreshing after the last few years!
