Looking at his recruiting video, he seems like the kind of reciever Davis needs. He catches mostly short routes and always makes the first guy miss. Also seems to have great breakaway speed as well. He seems like a perfect fit.

I've heard this as well. Has the looks to be a deep threat guy with his combo of speed and size. I think Mitchell Jr. has that same potential. Willies has a slightly better 40 time but Mitchell Jr. has some serious elusiveness. I look for both guys to contribute.

Is Willies on campus yet? I've heard that the coaching staff feels Derrick is one of the most impressive high school receivers they have ever landed, but didn't realize he was already on campus.

To be honest with you I'm not sure. I swear I read a quote from a coach or player who said he was really impressing. I don't want to put anything out there that's not true, but I'm not making up the fact I heard that.

I just checked and he currently has a pulled hamstring keeping him out of track at Rock Island right now. Coming to Iowa in June.
