Jok Has a Unique Shot at Hawkeye History

Trying to go back and find the last Hawkeye to play in 4 NCAA tournaments. The last time Iowa played in the NCAA tourney in 4 consecutive seasons would have started with the 1985-86 season.

For the life of me I cant find a roster for that year anywhere to see who would have been freshmen on that team and played in 4 straight NCAA tourneys.

Jok has a chance to accomplish that feat, starting next year.

Little help please.

Wouldn't you start with 78-79? Went to 5 straight starting then.

Iowa was in the tourney 85-89, so five straight years...also 5 straight years 79-83.

That said, if Iowa were to make four straight tourney's during Joke's tenure, he would be in a very small group of Hawkeye alums

You have to go back further, Lute Olson freshman class for the 78/79 season got to go to the NCAA all 4 years (5 year run). George Ravelings freshman class for the 84/85 season started another 5 year tournament run. But the 85/86 freshman class would have been the last one to do it.

Kevin Boyle and Kenny Arnold were freshmen in 1978-1979. Bobby Hansen and Mark Gannon were freshmen in 1979-1980.
