Steve Kerr is wrong. MSU was playing football the whole game. Rewatch the game. I did and the officiating was worse than I originally thought.
Hey guy Duff reffed a high school sub-state game! How dare you take Steve Kerr's word over Duff's!! You think Kerr knows more about basketball than Duff?!
I'm going to get grilled for this post but I'm putting it out there anyway. If Iowa does make the Dance I honestly believe the committee will be looking at an adjusted RPI for Iowa...what it would be if we had won. The concensus among objective talking heads is that things were pretty questionable late in our game. I'm not saying we lost because of officiating and I'm not saying we are getting into the NCAA tournament. I'm saying if we make it that there is some unofficial adjustment to our RPI in the minds of the Selection Committee.
There...now I know some people are going to come take shots at me but I'm a big boy and can handle it.
Sorry, the wound is still fresh.
i caught a glimpse of Nix tackling that one OSU player on the layup. what the heck? why does he get a free pass to foul?
I apologize for thinking Kerr is more knowledgeable than our resident officiating expert.
I didnt even know Duff is a ref.
Never ending cry fest.. lol
I must have missed final score? By reading hn they won score ?I just hope Duff accepts your apology. He is a proud man.....

I watched fat **** nix take an Ohio state player out. Cracked him over the head and slammed him to the ground on a fastbreak, no call. I turned the channel immediately. So disgusting to watch.
Then you missed them call a foul on a three that was way less contact then marble got on the last shot and then Ross drew a foul underneath the hoop jumping into a guy which again was way less blatant than marbles. So they are improving
I just hope Duff accepts your apology. He is a proud man.....

This would be relevant if the severity of the contact were the primary factor determining if something is a foul.
It's relevant because the marble no call is called 99% of the time, with far less contact made most the time. I get your point Duff, I'm just saying....
Marble was contacted by the defender hard enough to move his body and alter his shot. I dont believe in what Duff says on the severity of the contact. First of all there was legit contact on that play and when a shooter is out in space then any type of contact should be called. If that defender had just reached out and slightly pushed marble in the gut it should have been called because that is a foul.
It was a foul and needless to say the way the refs called the second half they let it go.
Izzo had to have had a perfect angle to see all the contact and might have been waiting for the whistle, oops what was I thinking.
Duff for supervisor of officials in the B1G!
Who's with me?
