More Ridonkulousness from Crean, if true



I read through most of the first page. If true, the B1G should investigate and suspend Crean. Maybe he's part of my problem with Indiana this year.

That is my thought as well and the problem doosh Crean is going to run into. Hes on tape doing enough stupid stuff that everybody is going to assume these stories are true.

I read that whole thread and love a current B1G coach's comments:

One league coach said of Crean, "He never played, so he has this insecurity wrapped up with being totally aloof from how things are done. He has a hell of a team, but I have no use for the guy and his handshake antics, or his full-court press when he is up 30."

 


An adult coach threatening a player (allegedly), stay classy. How about a little maturity and self control. These same people, coaches, are the same many in society idolize.

As I posted, Crean isnt going to be the benefit of the doubt from a lot of people outside of Indiana.

He apparently get a techincal a couple years back for jawing with David Lighty. Told Gasser to "stop talking to the refs and put your F'ing mouthguard back in".

Guys is a schmuck.

Gasser is a tool. Not nearly the tool Crean is though.

I havent ever really noticed Crean on the court much like the posters in the thread complained about. Will pay attention to it the next time I watch the Hoosiers.

I'm not a Crean fan and never will be. I don't think he's a very good in game coach but he can get players and that's half the battle. I will continue to dislike Crean but will still take Indiana to make a run at it this year.
 


I have to say I'm not a Crean fan, but I give an Ohio State message board no credibility whatsoever on this matter.
 




The thing about Crean is that after some of his antics, fans are ready to believe virtually any story that is out there about him. He has earned his wacky reputation.

He has pushed Bo Ryan to #2 on the list of Big Ten coaches I cannot stand....and really, with Weber gone, there are not any others on that list right now.

How can you not? I can't watch an IU game because he pisses me off so much.
 


I don't know a great deal about him, but Craft seems like a good kid and also seems pretty mature for his age.

Hopefuly that maturity would lead Craft to dismiss Crean's threats out of hand (if they were, in fact, made).
 


I hope like hell Crean doesn't get run out of Indiana in the next few years. The dude seems greasy at recruiting but he's not a terribly bright coach. Put a recruiter and game coach like Alford in that job and Iowa can forget about winning the Big Ten for decades.

Though admittedly my knowledge on the subject is cursory, I believe Iowa presently has struggled a score plus ten to win said title.
 


Crean has a history of doing this to opposing players in several documented incidents. Look at how out of control he was after the Michigan game. The people doubting this must not watch much B1G basketball because this is totally believable and Aaron Craft is a pretty reliable source, he's a hard core christian who leads their FCA chapter with a 3.92 GPA in pre-med. Crean is a complete scumbag and the biggest DBAG in college sports by a mile.

Have you watched any Indiana basketball games at all? Guy is always out on the floor, especially when the opponent is playing offense of his end of the floor. It's a tactic, a cheap one at that. It narrows the space opponents have to run plays. The B1G is partly at fault in that no one has done a thing to stop his crap.

He is a lunatic along the bench, clapping madly like a parent who never played sports living vicariously through his 10-year-old child in rec basketball, and aggressively walking along the out of bounds marker from the corner of the floor up to and beyond the scorer's table. And the refs let him get away with it. Look into his eyes; they're crazed.

He's a time bomb waiting to go off.
