From article:

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa junior forward Melsahn Basabe, limited to 13 minutes in his last two games because of an ankle injury, is expected to play Sunday at Michigan, UI head coach Fran McCaffery said Friday during a teleconference.

"He will play, he's fine," McCaffery said. "That's the other advantage of (playing) Monday-Sunday. Yesterday he went through half the practice; we'll see how he is doing today. He looked good yesterday, I thought."

Wasn't Hardaway supposed to have an ankle injury and not play vs Iowa? Looked pretty good against NW. We'll need Mel vs MI. Good to hear that he'll be playing. The only way I see us having a shot in this game is if we dominate the paint and bother their outside shooting. We'll need Mel for the first. Considering we lead the B1G in opponent 3pt% at 27.9%, we'll have to expect the second.

Axl Rose thinks Iowa takes too much time off between games. If Mel got his leg amputated after IU, it would have grown back by now.

Kinda disappointed in Fran.

I was hoping for something like, "We expect Mel to play, he has had the best few days of practice I have ever seen from someone coming off a tweaked ankle. The guy should have an extraordinary game."

Glad to hear that Mel will be playing. I think a few more good minutes from him in the IU game would have made a difference.

Along those lines, but you need to add "phenomenal" or "phenomenally" somewhere

Haraway would have played the game he sat if it was a conference game, the announcers said it during the game, strictly precautionary.
