Zook and Illinois: Classiest Program in Big Ten

Illinois player looks around for a ref, doesn't see any, and knees a NW player in the groin. Real classy.

Yeah you notice the players very closely conduct themselves just as their coach. That is why after almost every big play they were strutting and talking sh^& ... Don't like NW but hated to see Zook come out with the win ...

That was worthy of an ejection. I can't fathom why a man would do that to another man regardless of the context.

Side note: the guy that got "hit" is the older brother of Iowa recruit Ryan Ward.

Yep, NW and NE at 0-1 means a lot for Iowa. NE is lucky this year that OSU is very down after losing all their players and is not a typical OSU team...of course OSU cheated with those players, or NE would probably be starting out 0-2 in the Big 10.

Classy move. Though, at the same time, considering that's pretty much what jNW's done to our pride the last couple times, I don't really mind.

I'm quite happy to see NW lose. Of course, none of us like Illin' Noise, but I'd hate to see NW finish ahead of Iowa in teh Division.

So we think this player is doing what he was coached to do? And that is the Zook way? I guess KIrk must have coached Mitch King to do what he did against an Ohio State player in 2005 and it is/was The Kirk Way. OK.

Those players, minus TP are back for the Nebraska game.

What did Mitch King do to an OSU player in 2005? I don't remember...

#45 was so stupid that even though he looked around when he through the knee 2 refs were standing right there. Total fail!

Chicken, in 2006 (not 05 like I incorrectly stated) he pulled the helmet off an Ohio player and punched him in the face. I would imagine it's on YouTube.
