ugh. maybe it's time for a break.
AMEN! LOL I rarely get involved in these threads but guess I couldn't resist this time. LOL

I understand exactly what you're saying... I'm trying to understand why thought AW and/or GO was better... which btw you have yet to answer the question I posed you. I see the same things you do, but as I said and have asked, WHY do you think AW and GO would be any better? That's where this started and it seems that YOU are having a hard time understanding that point OR are you trying to avoid answering the question?
Expectations can make people really stupid. Like making them forget an entire season's worth of defensive prowess because of one game when the team had no legs to stand on.
Lots of people could use a break.
4 games in 6 days and 2 of them went into Overtime. Let's also toss in Flights to Atlantis.. I was very wary of this Notre Dame game and glad they got the W.. That is all that matters is the W in this one. Just give it a REST!!
Amen. The whole "We're back" thing is really tired and old but if anything says we're back it's when we win our Big Ten ACC Challenge game and everybody is crying and ******** about the way we won.
Where did I ever mention that Gabe or Woodbury would have been better last night? You're arguing a point I never made, but reading comprehension is hard so I'll give you a break. Any lineup with McCabe playing the 5 spot struggles, we've seen that going back to his sophomore years. Putting Basabe in their with them, or even going smaller and playing Marble at a wing would have helped defensively too, but that lineup is in their to score, which they have done a very nice job of doing in the last few games.
I believe you were the one that mentioned that AW and GO only played 26 minutes and that the other three are poor defensively.... you do the math. Somebody had to stop Shermen and those 3 did. End of story.
