Your gut feeling on the PSU game this year

Sorry if this has been asked before.... I need to spend some serious coin on some great tix, like yesterday for this game.
What are the odds this game is played this year? Discuss.:confused:
 
It is probably too late for anything of consequence to happen that will jeopardize this coming season. All bets are off after that though.
 
I can see psu getting the death penalty this year and us not playing them, but I can also see everything going as planned and we play them. I think honestly if the penalty is anything less then some sort of season suspencion, theres gonna be an outrage. Nicks saben suggestion of ticket tax is not enough.
 
Just a hypothetical, because I'm all for them getting a modern day "death penalty. Would the NCAA really put it into effect this close to the start of the season because of the scheduling nightmare it would be for the 12 teams that are scheduled to play them? I for one feel that with all the investigating and legal proceedings that nothing takes place this year, but wonder what kind of domino effect the cancellation of games this late would have on the college world.
 
if the ncaa has proven anything with regards to sanctions and punishments its that it has no problem taking its time to make sure they get everything right.
 
Twin, buy the tickets. You need to be in Iowa City that day to have a drink with me.
 
I guarantee that we will play PSU this year. 100% no doubt in my mind. And I'm willing to bet that PSU plays every game the next year.

Think about it. What are the odds PSU get the death penalty when O$U barely got a slap on the wrist & Miami is a repeat offender and probably won't get more than another year post season ban.
 
I'm sorry, but someone who lives in Arkansas isn't one to judge what is and is not an "icky experience".

LOL at anyone dumb enough to think that this game might possibly be canceled.

Is Iowa just going to refund the $4 million in gate revenue? We get a free win towards bowl eligibility and an extra bye week?
 
Why do people think this game will be canceled? It will be played, 100% chance. And my gut feeling on the game? Iowa will win comfortably.
 
I can't wait to hear the WE ARE! PENN STATE! chant I love that part of the game.

Does anyone know if this game will be a white out?
 
After the SMU deal, they will be playing, 100%. Scholarship reductions and bowl denials for sure, but the game will be played. I feel bad for the kids that are there now. They had nothing to do with it and they will be punished. We need to all pray for the families of the children that were hurt by this. Horrible situation
