My fave moments were tailgating in Chicago and Iowa City. Met some derelicts from this and other Hokk websites and had some laffys. Got too drunj in Chicago, but rallied and closed strong. IC tailgate was freakin' epic. :D

Getting crunked with Jon (he was just observing) Scorp, Twinlaker, and the gang was pretty sweet.

The interception against MSU in OT. Or possibly the Weisman touchdown to tie the game. That was the only big win of the year and the only time I got a glimmer of hope about the season.

Remember that ONE time, early in the Nebby game, that former QB threw to the big tight-end for like 26 yards? I think it was #86 (not sure cuz barely remember him being targeted much throughout the season). That was awesome!

It'd be really neat if they find a way to get that mountain more involved in The Offensive. I've heard he's like 6'6 / 260 or something but he really went up and caught the ball. I bet he'd be a tough matchup againt 6'2" LB's and 5'10" DB's but I'm sure the coaches will recognize that. Can't wait to see him play in 2013!

I'm not really looking forward to seeing anyone play in 2013. This team is pathetic. The coaching is pathetic, especially Greg Davis. How that guy still has a job just baffles me.

CJ... he'll suck again because the whole team is gonna suck. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. I've never been so pessimistic about Iowa football.

Honestly I think mine might have been the first time I didn't let an opening game trick me into thinking that this was going to be the game our offense breaks out. Felt like an idiot every game when we'd score on the opening drive and I'd think this is the game. Then about the 8th or 9th game we scored on an opening drive and I promiesed myself I wasn't going to be fooled again. Felt great not to get all bummed after the offense flatlined a few minutes later.

I went to the NIU game, that told me everything I needed to know about the team, allowed me to detach emotionally from the rest of the season.
