When Ferentz can claim victories AT Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State, he will be as esteemed as Ronald Zook, but until that day, we should acknowledge Zook's superiority over Ferentz.
Zook - has won at the 'Shoe
Ferentz - no wins at the 'Shoe in more attempts than Zook
Zook - has been to the Rose Bowl
Ferentz - has never been to the Rose Bowl
Zook's only been there a few years and already his resume surpasses Ferentz's in terms of things that matter (beating the Big 3 and going to the Rose Bowl). Oh but, no I forgot, we must never admit that there are better coaches in the conference than Ferentz, he's simply the best.
Oh yeah, and last year after Zook's offense sucked, he canned his offensive coordinator and changed the scheme. And when the defense sucked, he canned the defensive coordinator and changed the scheme. The only "accomplishment" of Zook is that I would rate him as the 11th best clock manager in the conference, slightly behind the Captain and the Maestro Ken O'Grief.

You forgot to mention Zook's mastery of Minnesota and suburb coaching job in the 2004 Outback Bowl. Shouldn't you be out painting your dog purple or something? A real Iowa fan would not be ******** about the drive to Iowa City or the cost of his seats. Take your love of Fitz and get off this board. You will not be missed.

Well prole, when the Conference drops Iowa and picks up Notre Dame and Iowa moves down to the MAC with Iowa State, you'll be lucky to get a coach half as good as Zook.
