Our offense will continue to suck - as long as we refuse to run the QB you have to have run in your offensive weapons and you have TO COACH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Honestly if never watch another Game with KOK on the sideline I will be much happier and much less drunk
 
It's college football. Most of the best teams now run their QB's. Most of the mediocre teams run their QB.

It's not the NFL. I want to see an offense that looks like a college football offense.
 
All the NE backs just ran right through Iowa's stellar bend and break defense. Well Iowa's defense did make Martinez look like a pretty good passing QB today, like Iowa makes ALL QBs look good. Let them sit in the pocket all day with NO pressure whatsoever from our high school defensive line; play zone by giving the receivers at least a 5 to 7 yard cushion, and do nothing different on defense...NOTHING.

Outstanding coaching by this dynamic but ininspired staff. Again, their soap operas were on tv during the game and the coaches were pi$$ed that they didn't get to stay home and watch their afternoon programs.

You're dumb. The defense was on the field all day because our OFFENSE didn't cross Nebraska's 35 yard line until 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

The defense kept us in this game!!!!!!!!!! A first down would have been nice wouldn't it? Dang you folks are just dumb as rocks to think the defense lost this game. Go vote for for Romney too you sheep you will get more of the same too. Geesh!

The QB doesnt always have to run effectively, but the threat of running is still there for Nebraska. Iowa defense had to account for it on every play. You can't say that the Nebraska defense had to do that. It freed them up to do other things.

Oh yeah, just look at the -23 yards by AJ McCarron of Alabama or the -4 by Tyler Wilson of Arkansas, or the -95 by Brandon Weeden, or the -50 by Kellen Moore, or a whopping 54 from Case Keenum, or 21 from Landry Jones.

That is 6 of the QB's from the top 10 teams that have FEWER rushing yards than Vandenberg's 57.

Agree with this completely! Our defense is not the best but it is serviceable. We had zero points until late in the game, and were dominated concerning the time of possession.
