From the article

"University of Iowa freshmen wrestlers Connor Ryan and Alex Meyer were arrested Tuesday night and charged with illegally hunting rabbits on the UI campus. According to a news release from UI Athletics Department, Ryan and Meyer will be suspended indefinitely until their case is addressed according to the Code of Student Life and Athletics Department Student-Athlete Code of Conduct."

it for sure hurts the team in the long term not immediate besides the distractions and bad publicity.

these two might be expelled but I highly doubt it

I don't really think it hurts the team that bad, except for depth wise in the long run. I do think you expell them to prevent other students from trying to the same thing and maybe even up the caliber.
 
What a joke. They better not be booted for that. Hopefully our resident Peta member is still hungover in NC and doesn't see this thread.

What do you mean what a joke? The idiots were walking around CAMPUS which is within CITY LIMITS with a gun. Doesn't matter if it's a BB gun, it's still considered a gun.
