Wow, the Hawks are looking really bad at the end of this one!

The 7' guy killed us in the last 3 minutes... just killed us. Gotta knock down a couple of those Js in the last 90 seconds and we win that game, no question.

Well played by the Hawks.

they showed a lot of heart to fight back in the last few min. This will definitely help this young team grow up! There will be some good games coming up out of these guys!
When you're up 17, you shouldn't have to fight back to win.

Not sure why Iowa athletics just can't finish out the opponent.

burky's dead on. That kid is a good bball player but he's not a gamer. why we didn't put the ball in Cartwright's hands at the end is beyond me. Gatens still hasn't learned that he is not 7 foot tall.

Well, I came into this game thinking we lose. I was happy with the first half like everybody else. I wasn't surprised to see them make a run being the home team. I loved seeing us come back. Great job there. I would have liked the call for Gatens on the 3 more if he had been playing more in the 2nd half.

That being said, we did well on the road and blew a lead on the road. Not the first time any Iowa or Big 10 team did it, so I'm not going to lose my mind over it.

A little side note, which was great, was to listen to Jayson Williams announcing the game early in the 2nd half pulling for Wake. Seeing Wake come back in the second and hearing Jayson say something to the effect of, "Pass right there and shoot", basically trying to tell what WF to do to win. Nice job buddy. At least some ESPN people actually try not to show their colors when announcing.

LOL
I wonder if he crash...er, rode...his motorcycle to the arena tonight.

An absolutely COMPLETE first half. They are going to have games like this, where they look like a different team comparing halves. They looked out of sync running the offense in the second and forced a lot of shots.

He could have been a great PG in the NBA, but those are the risks.

It was just unfortunate to see him, for his sake, making that kind of comment. He did a decent job in the first half of hiding it, but it came out pretty early in the 2nd.

It's hard enough to watch an Iowa game on the road given the away crowd, but I was hoping it wouldn't have come out like that. It made it much harder to watch.
