Wow did PSU get hosed

It was hard to see a foul on the shot itself, definitely could have been a no call for sure. But he was getting bumped prior to the shot, I thought perhaps he was gonna get a call there and it would have been a 1:1. Alas, big break for NW and he made the FTs to his credit.

Pat Chambers is a Philly guy as well as Fran. They are good friends, so I'm sure Fran will do him a favor and knock NW off their high horse. NW got a gift tonight.
It was a good foul call. I agree the whistle should have been blown before he got the shot off, he got shoved before trying to even shoot. I though the PSU guy #25 I think hit Shurna's arm on the shot.
He still had to make the free throws and did not even hit rim on either shot. Clutch FT by Shurna.

Im ****** because that horrible free throw shooter that hit both free throws to put the game away against us missed both in the same situation against NW.
Graham was 4 of 4 against Iowa down the stretch,tonite he reverted to his 30% FT shooting form...arrghh.
The refs once again were letting players get molested without calls...Big Ten refs are killing this league. Frazier got hammered into the third row on a layup tonite with no call. It is ridiculous. Did a memo go out from the league office to the refs dictating that Big Ten bb now becomes Big Ten football?
And that last call was total BS....clean block. They do not call decapitations all nite and a clean block is a foul? Nah.

I have noticed that they are not calling a lot of pretty blatant fouls during the games this year.
What is worse is when they all of the sudden call something really ticky-tack and you just go... "wtf?"
If I remember correctly, when we played Wisconsin, White was tackled out of bounds and they did not call it. Then the following play they called something really ticky-tack against us and Fran was ****** and you could read his lips saying something along the lines of "What about the one down there?" as he points to where White was tackled, "you don't call that one but you call this?!"
I wish they would tighten it up a little bit more because I think it is going to hurt B1G teams during the NCAA tourny when there will be some pretty tightly called games.
Don't get me wrong though, I am a fan of letting the defense be physical when it comes to using their body. I hate when they call blocking fouls when the guy with the ball is just barreling down the lane, completely out of control, with this head down and he runs into the defender.
I just don't like how they allow guys to completely hack and slap people on the arm. I even hate when they allow hand-checking. Defense should be able moving your feet and using your body... Hand-checking is just a cheap way to slow down the person you are guarding. If you are a good defender you shouldn't have to use your hands to stay in front of/on your man.
