Would You Rather...?

We haven’t had any success against Duke in past NCAA tournaments. But we do have the B1G POY. This is the best time time to set things right and knock off a blue blood and get some national respect. I think Duke will have the mentality of a blue blood and guard Garza straight up. This could be their undoing. This is the kinda game that guarantees Luka National POY honors.

For some reason ever since Utah St beat SDSU, I’ve had this feeling that’s who we will draw.
 
I'll take my chances against Duke. They're 4-3 against quality opponents. Iowa's 11-9. Iowa's non-conference SOS is 29th and 5th overall. Duke's non-conference SOS is 87th and 54th overall. 4 quality wins vs. 11? We have to play a highly seeded team to get to the Sweet 16, so I'll take my chances against Duke. Wichita State has beaten 1 quality opponent this year. On the other hand, Utah State has won 10 of 11, including a win in the CCG against SDSU and has a better non-conference SOS than Duke. Creighton has 11 quality wins (11-5 against quality opponents) and their SOS is 29th. We played ourselves into this situation, but the numbers say Wichita/Duke is better than Utah St/Creighton. Too bad these games aren't played on paper...
