Would You Rather Have a Season Like>>>>>>

Yeah and I bet you wanted Mr. Davis fired too and look were that got the basketball program. I'm not accepting suck-a tude just want to know earlier then later that my team is going to suck.

Ok, so I maybe off my rocker but seriously think about how you would feel after that game. I remember feeling like crap after leaving Joe Robbie, Land Shark, Sun Life whatever stadium name it was after the Hawks lost to USC in the Orange bowl and that was't even close to this kind of a crap showing from NEB.

Yeah, that one night would suck, no doubt about it. But your point about Iowa losing to USC in the Orange Bowl.. That particular night was not much fun (not after CJ Jones's Kickoff Return anyway), but it was still one heck of a fun season. One that I look back upon fondly. I'd rather have a great season end with disappointment, than to have a bad season with no chance to end with a big win in the post-season. Easy choice for me.

That 2002 team didn't suck. USC was that good. Sure, it sucks to know that even though you were really, really good, there was a team out there that much better than you. But that's a helluva lot better than really, really sucking and knowing there's at least 50 teams that much better than you.

I just can't wrap my head around your logic on this one.

I'd like to see a coach that understands that saying "things have to get better" doesn't actually make things get better. You have to make changes, Kirk, I understand you like the status quo, but sometimes change is good (especially when you're enabling the team to be bad).
