That Purdue game last Saturday would have been worth it.

I really thought Purdue would win….I was stunned at the result. Perhaps the wind and rain helped Iowa. I think it did.

this Iowa team is getting better. Saturday against Wisconsin is going to be very interesting. The weather will make it difficult again to throw the ball.

I've seen SO many losses to Purdue over the years, in Kinnick and Ross Ade. It's easy to forget how great a program they have been through the years. Plus, they've owned us lately.

I'm really glad we broke their train.

I'm traveling from California on Friday to see the hawks play in (for me) ridiculously cold conditions. BRRR! and Go hawks.

I am fortunate and enjoy the fall watching Iowa football and traveling around to all the excellent Big Ten campuses.
