would you fire Rich Rodriguez? if you were Michigan

NO WAY would i fire him, he has a chance to go "oregon" all over the big ten's A$$! He unique play still has its advantages. given the right personnel and there automatic top 25 recruiting class every year, except for the Iowa & tOSU game i think next year they should enter into every contest as the favorite (they might even be a favorite entering Kinnick**)

I think Rich Rod is there for a long time, at least as long as KF. I may be the only that thinks this- but everyone is resistant to change; even if results show right away.

I think that Forcier might leave. he still has a redshirt year. With him being pass happy- could you see him going to Indiana or Minnesota with a big name coach getting hired either place?

**(^above i stated that maybe michigan could enter into kinnick as the favorite, the only way that happens is if we drop 1 or 2 games early on. If we are both undefeated we will be ranked ahead & favored in that game)

Go Oregon on the Big Ten like the Oregon Ducks did with Ohio State in the Rose Bowl last year? This league plays defense. Also, to the poster that said that Michigan scored on everyone except Ohio St., well in Ann Arbor, ultimately if your not scoring on Ohio State enough, you'll be fired. That's the game that really counts for Michigan.

I think he's there for a long time if he can get to next year. I think they have a chance to be pretty good next year. Not BT Champs, but in the hunt with a couple weeks to play.

no, 1 more year ... 10 wins or else in 2011

I agree with this. If he can't win 9 games and a bowl after four years I think it's time to split ways. That is, unless something crazy happens like and insane amount of injuries to every key player. I have a hard time thinking it could be worse than this year, but you never know. I also think the "youth" excuse runs out. I give his defense somewhat of a pass this year because there is a bunch of freshman and sophomores, but once you have juniors and returning sophomores who started, you lose that excuse.

Well, despite making a ton of mistakes, that offense did pretty well in the Big Ten with a sophomore QB. Most of the time, when they were stopped, it was a lot of unforced errors. Hopefully, with another year for Denard and some of the other guys, those mistakes go away and their points fall in line with their yards. This year they did not.

I would like to hear who these coaches are.

I'd venture initially it was basically Harbaugh or bust...but with RR trying to force their AD's hand with his prayer circle the other night, it may open the field a bit more.

I listen to an espn talk sports station out of Western Michigan that has both Michigan and Sparty fans and Friday was 2 of the more entertaining/humorous hours of talk radio I've experienced.

as it was already stated, the biggest factor separating success from michigan was themselves. but i agree they have a more difficult schedule to slalom through- but if they make it through the Big Ten with that offense, they will be a unanimous NT pick (especially with all the media clamoring for them to be "back").

I would venture to say that it would be just like the love fest with Cam and Auburn.

Either it will be Harbaugh or it will be RR. There won't be anyone else. There just aren't the hot names anymore. Patterson isn't leaving. Brady Hoke excites exactly zero people. I suppose Chris Petersen would be a guy I wouldn't mind at Michigan. To be honest, I want RR back but I won't be devastated if they fire RR. RR delivered, by all accounts a fantastic speech the other night. He should have stopped with the speech. I think this perception of every important alum and former player wanting him gone is pretty far fetched. I think if you were in Schembechler Hall on a daily basis a lot of people would have a different perception of what goes on day to day.

I'm sure Sparty was having a good time with that. They are really enjoying their short period of success.
