Would Winston have played yet at Iowa?

It's "Dual Threat" not duel threat, unless you think Jameis is the type to walk ten paces and then fire at you. ******* idiots.

All he does is win. Best QB in the game.

Yes he would play. Is this a serious question?

I'm not sure if the question is, "Would he have played because it wasn't his turn yet?" or "Would he still be playing because he raped crab legs, or whatever?"

Would he have played? Yes
Would he still be playing? No

Pierre Pierce thinks so

Major overhauls were instituted after Pierre Pierce Part Deux. Guys liek Satterfeld and Everson were immediately removed from the team and um, what ever happened to Coker? The U of Iowa committee that handles stuff like this has a much lower bar to find honor code/code of conduct violations than the cops do in bringing a criminal charge and I have little doubt that Winston would have been removed from the team very quickly had he enrolled at Iowa.

Even if Winston would have somehow survived the sexual assault investigation, which there isn't a doubt in my mind would have been handled differently in any state in America, there is no chance he'd remain on the team after continually making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

You are forgetting the dorm cafeteria table stunt that got him suspended for the Clemson game. Its actually real close to KF's real sense of humor that he usually keeps to his private life. KF would have suspended Jameis, but it would have been for doing the stunt when he wasn't around and couldn't enjoy it with his coach.

I've heard that KF's sense of humor is one of the reasons Ft. Kinnick is always on lock down. What happens in Kinnick stays in Kinnick.

Coker got a raw deal, he was a really good kid. From what I understand KF was upset about what the UI did to him. He didn't have to leave. But why would he want to stay

no, he would have been booted off the team for rape.........deservedly so. Only the south "makes it go away" like that. It's one thing to make a minor offense "go away" but a major felony, hellz no. FSU is dirty and is quickly moving up my "most hated football teams" list.

No way could he participate in the "No More" commercials sponsored by the NFL.

He transferred to Stony Brook and hasn't played a whole lot since. He was doing OK at the end of last year but before spring practice had an accident on his motorcycle (someone turned left in front of him). He's played in all 8 games but a soph is starting ahead of him; BTW he has less rushing yards and less yards per attempt than Weisman.

The Tim Dwight question like this had me 50/50. Maybe he would have and maybe he wouldn't have. This one I'm almost positive the answer is no. Duel threat qb who wasn't ready vs the older safe pick qb. I've seen that one play out. Good news for Winston is he could have red shirt last year and still had 2 years left to play when Rudock graduated.

If you think that Winston wouldn't have played then you have a screw loose. He is better than any quarterback to ever suit up at Iowa and would have started as a freshman if we are only talking about ability and not his love of free crab legs. This post leads me to believe that you are one of these fans that think that Iowa has a plethera of 5 star freshman that Ferentz is sitting on just because he feels like it. When will this fan base stop thinking that a freshman who makes one big play is all of the sudden a freakin All American?

Nope. Just one of those fans who think Ferentz has some serious flaws in his talent evaluation.
