Would this bother you?

Came home for lunch this past Thursday at around 11:30a (I live in Eastern Iowa.) I sit down with my food and turn on KCRG-TV & there is their morning weather guy wearing a Cyclone tie. It immediately ****** me off, I watched for a minute or two and then turned it to CNN because I didn't want to look at the tie. Then on Friday I came home for lunch again and turn on KCRG, but this time they had different weather guy on air and he was wearing a Cyclone tie! I was like F-you KCRG and turned the channel. As an Iowa fan I was offended by this. Would it bother you?
 


Depends on what type of tie it was. Was it really narrow at the top and huge at the bottom with flashing lights and the button that shoots water? I'll admit, those are pretty cool.
 








they should have fired him. you don't wear that in eastern Iowa. I'm surprised they sell ties with that color combination in stores

Obviously, a custom made tie. Probably had to pay a fortune to have it made, too! I mean, who in the da hehl would create something like that?
 


the weather guy on Thursday was wearing a cardinal & gold tie that was stripes (like the black/gold one Ferentz wears every now and then.) The other weather guy on Friday was wearing an isu tie that had a clone football helmet on it. They were both butt ugly:) I personally don't think on air local news people should do this, you really can rub viewers the wrong way. I guarantee you if they would have won, those two weather clowns would have been gloating on the air on Monday. Bet they don't say a word now.

The only really bothersome part of this story is trying to figure out why you would watch local news in the middle of the day. Come on man, ESPN or something.

Apparently they rubbed you the wrong way,it's no big deal they support their college that they went to. I'm a diehard Hawk fan and always watch KCRG and would be disappointed if they didn't support their college. At least we have the trophy back home where it belongs.Go Hawks

Ok now I'm really confused so now it's no big deal? lol ok~
 




Still not sure how one can bring themselves to wear ISU gear. It is like deciding to go slumming and deciding to sticking with it. And, going to that school, somehow brainwashes those poor kids. :(
 


I've never taken clown fans seriously enough to let them bother me. If it were a Nebraska tie, yes that would bother me.
 






Wow OP....you must not have very much REAL stress in your life. I wasn't even sure this was serious to be honest.
 


What bothers me is a car with both flags on it. No hawk flag wants to be on the same vehicle with a cyclone flag.
