Would Iowa accept a bid to the CBI?

With a 1-6 record over the last seven games and the embarrassing loss to Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament, I really believe we are out of the NCAA. There is also a good chance that the NIT passes on us as well because there would be little fan interest since we were there last year and expected to dance this year. They probably also don't want Fran and Zach's behavior to damage the tournament. So, if this team is going to make the post-season, it probably will have to be the CBI. A few years ago there was talk about refusing a bid. But right now that might not be wise. This is a team that loves each other and loves playing for their coach. Robbing them of one final opportunity to play together would be cruel and unusual punishment, it seems to me.

My friend resign yourself to the fact we are dancing. I too think we are non-deserving. However, we have new life and that is how I am approaching this. Anything can happen and this Irish guy is hoping for some luck of the Irish.

I disagree with all who say "we are undeserving". The last 7-10 games have fogged the memory of many of the first two-thirds of the season.

Edit: I realize I just added to a thread that I had just ended. My bad.

tweeterhawk, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Give it a rest, Tweeter. Believe me, with every post you are just making yourself look dumber and dumber come 5:00 this afternoon.

My thread making fun of this thread (and others like it) gets deleted but this piece of **** gets to stay. **** off.

What are you talking about tweeter? Major League Baseball players don't play in the minors at same time as they do the big leagues...the schedules would conflict.

Gotta love a Billy Madison reference.
