Would Biels have made Beathard and Sokol his top 2 QBs?

I don't think long hair bothers him. And I think losing to the Cyclones does.

From what I've seen, he always has his players ready and encourages them to play emotional, too. I like that.

He's passionate

about getting every member of the family (including in-laws) on the payroll. Easy to admire a guy who is all about family.

I doubt Bielema bases playing time on whether kids take chemistry class or not. He cares more about winning.

To the OP... The answer is a good coach would have made Jake #3. But that would not have been as good of a story.

When CJ transfers after this season, he probably will. Look what he did with Russel Wilson in one season. CJ will still have 2.

Just not about winning a conference game in the SEC.

We may need a HC change. He ain't it.

Bielema won the Big Ten 3 out of 7 years he was a Wiscy. Wiscy led the conference in scoring 3 out of 7 years he was there. Bielema might be it. I doubt there is any other coach that is more likely to be successful at Iowa, including everyone.

Who cares what the personality of the coach is if he wins and brings a tough no non sense, step on your throat brand of football.

You can have class and still be a good coach. Maybe I'm alone I this, that's fine. There are a number of coaches I would prefer over burt.

All great points. Can't refute his success. The guy has a tigerhawk tattoo and Hawk history. Hell, maybe I'm wrong about him, but currently I don't respect him.

How much class is required to sit through giving up 51 unanswered?

His plan to wear them down with Weisman and Rudock then kick their *** with Beathard and Wadley was a good one. He just waited a tad bit to long.

Bielema may not be good enough to compete year in and year out in the SEC west, but Arkansas almost beat Alabama, Mississippi state and Texas AM. His team would curb stomp this pathetic iowa team. Bielema would easily be competitive in the big ten west.

Not sure class and getting destroyed are connected in any way. You can be classy and get owned, and be classless and do the owning.

I'll have to refer to the coaching card to answer....

Demanding a lifetime contract for mediocre results - giving awards to coaches who send 13 kids to the hospital - student housing for the sons of millionaires - padding his wealth thru nepotism - profanity-laced tirades against reporters who question him. Dang, it doesn't get any classier than that.

Wait, I thought this was a thread about KF'S replacement...but you couldn't resist I guess.

In my first post in this thread I stated KF may need to go....

Kirk has faults, and it's possible it's getting worse. If the list(very tired list) is your argument that KF isn't one of the classiest coaches in cfb, well, it's your opinion to have.

Again, didn't say once that KF shouldn't be replaced, just for the record.
