Worst seedings in years by NCAA

Granted I am only in my mid twenties but this has to be some of the worst seeding in any year I can remember. UNI as a 9, then Cal gets and 8, craziest of all ND gets a 6 seed, by barely going .500 in their conference. What a joke this year.

Your thoughts?

I think you summed it up nicely.

Seeding is always the thing I have the biggest problem with every year. Much more so than the bubble teams that get in or left out. Temple getting a 5 seed is a joke. They should have been a 3 seed. ND a 6 is way too high. Even Florida getting a 10 makes no sense.

UNI deserved a 7 and got a 9, not too far away from where they "should" have been, but a huge difference in terms of what that means for their chances of advancing in the tournament.

With my above post being made. I will still love watching every minute of this year's tourney. March Madness is one of my favorite times of the year.

I think Kansas, the supposed top overall seed, got the toughest bracket. Ohio St, Georgetown, Maryland, Michigan St, that is much harder than Duke's road to the final four.

I will also add I don't think they did any worse this year than in past seasons. It's always like this. Even Duke getting the 3rd overall 1 seed over Syracuse didn't make sense based on the chairmen's explanation.

BTW, Duke's bracket is by far the weakest. By far. I don't want to pick any one of those teams to the Final Four.

ND would take UNI's lunch money.

Duke and Coach K got a "GO" card. Again.

How can 4 tourneys of 16 teams be so unbalanced?

My putting Ohio State as a 2 seed in the same bracket as Kansas, the overall #1. They're saying Ohio State is the worst 2 seed. That was something along with UNI's seeding that I didn't understand.
