Worst one shining moment ever.

It's always been so great it almost brings tears to my eyes.

This year it brought puke to my throat.

Jennifer Hudson? Instead of showing clips of basketball players we're looking at her? Singing a song she should never be singing?

I hope the idiot that made that decision gets his testicles bit off by crocodiles and dies.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. That sucked. Horrible end to a great night of BB.

EVERY year when they say "the ball is tipped" they show the tip from the Championship Game. When they showed Jennifer Hudson instead, I knew it was going to be the worst shining moment. I've never seen them show anything but highlights during the song.

I always look forward to this part of the broadcast and thanks to DVR, go back and watch it again. Very disappointed this year.

What makes me mad is the under the basket camera angle every time somebody has a breakaway. I didn't mind the one shining moment, its usually too many close angles which I frickin hate. I hate that they feel the need to change things up, we don't care if they are creative, they must get bored or something. Just do everything normal !

I never really liked the song that much. But I did always like watching the highlight clips while it was going on. Why they chose to give her facetime I have no idea. And her singing was absolutely awful.

I tried looking away but I could still hear her. I tried hitting mute but I could see her. So I gave up and just threw the tv out the window.

I won't miss it. They will be playing Duke highlights for days. :)

It reminded me of when someone comes out and takes 6 minutes to butcher the national anthem by putting their own "touch" on it...when it doesn't need that at all.

Well now I know who to sue for that TV hitting me in the head as I was walking it off before bed...

agreed. Gets worse every year. Got goose bumps as a kid watching it, now it is just horrible. Like adding more teams to the tournament, you don't NEED to make it better. It is already great, don't screw with it. Just stupid.

+1000. that was terrible. Why the heck do they have to try to turn it into a music video.

That song has always been horrible, no matter who sings it.

It was never 'Born to Run'

But it has become synonymous with college hoops, and is the curtain for the entire tournament...it's tradition now.

And they just freaking killed it. It almost felt like watching Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, South Park version
