Worst losses?

There are losses to teams as double digit favorites..too many to list. Those suck.

There are losses to teams where we just didn't compete...ASU in 2004, Wisky this year, and just about every bowl game the last 5 years. Those are maddening and frustrating.

But no loss in the KF era will ever surpass the loss to OSU in 2009 where, with the ball, on the 30 yd line, 1:47 on the clock, 2 timeouts, and a chance to win the B1G, KF sat on the ball to go to overtime. No matter how much longer he coaches here, that will be the worst, most disappointing, most confounding, most "insert your own discription here" loss in his tenure.

I was at that game. Actually, when KF chose to sit on it, there was about a 50 seconds left, one timeout and we were on our 33 or so. I remember because we only had to go 40 yards to get into FG range. Plus we had the momentum. The shoe knew it. The Iowa players knew it. OSU had no answer for McNutt. But you're right....KF reared his ugly conservative head and sat on it. All the Buckeye fans in my section couldn't believe their "luck."

Afterwards I listened to his lame excuse of not wanting to put Vandy into a pressure situation (what!?)(he was playing the game of his life) and was fearful of a turnover (what!?). Hell, Tressell would have sat on it anyway. I truly lost more than a little KF faith that night in C-Bus.
