I know the thread is worst in past 10 years but i go back to 2010 vs Wisconsin. Worst coaching blunder i think i've ever seen Kirk make. Iowa up 30-24 at home w/ 6:30 left in the game. Iowa's D forces a 3 and out at Wisconsin's own 26 yard line (4th & 4). I'm at home screaming at the TV "WATCH OUT FOR A FAKE PUNT!!!". Of course ultra conservative Kirk would never think anyone would call a fake punt in that situation. Sure enough Iowa sets up for a punt return and Brett calls the fake punt and their punter runs 17 yds for a first down. Took the air out of the stadium, the air out of the iowa defense, and all momentum which had been on iowa's side switched over to the badgers. We all know what happens after the fake. Just absolutely horrible coaching to not think of and watch out for the fake punt in that situation.
