Worse possible draws.

The big 10 was the best conference this year, but the gap between everyone else is not as big as some people here make it out to be. I think the physical nature of the conference hurts us come tourney time. These other leagues don't put up with the maulings on a nightly basis. Officials call a tighter game in the tourney, and the big 10 teams are not used to playing that way. Maybe the league needs to change the way these conference games are officiated.

What's your excuse for previous years?

The Big Ten is the best conference this year IMO. We may not have the best team. Michigan could win the National Championship...may lose today. The Dance is so much about getting hot at the right time. It happens every year. This year it is Wichita State.

Syracuse's zone is a nightmare for teams every year in the tournament. Play defense and don't turn the ball over and they are pretty ordinary IMO. They really struggle to score many years. Get impatient and rush things and you're in trouble.

Um, our champ just got rolled by a Final Four team.

Fixed it for you. Wichita State is H-O-T. They beat 3 teams seeded higher.

The BigTen has the second best overall record. Three teams made it to the Elite 8, and a team that could only muster 4th place in the conference...is in the Final Four. That's hardly something to be embarrassed about.

Normally this is something I would agree with, but in this years tourney many of the games have been called very similar to the B1G games all year. Horribly inconsistent...watch the Indy vs. 'Cuse game and tell me how many "blocks" Syracuse had without fouling. Indy played very poorly but the way it was called down low helped to dictate how the game played out.

I'm excited about where we are headed with Fran, but the officiating on the whole in every level of basketball continues to remind me why I stopped watching.

Um, our champ just got rolled by a Missourah Valley team.

That's an understatement. Craft, floor general of the mighty Buckeyes, just looked USED all night. Man he looked bad. Goes for the rest of the team too, far from a Final Four team. Hats off to WSU, I will root for them rest of the way.
