I thought he was the reason Iowa won tonight. What an outstanding young man. He willed Iowa to victory.

Well done sir

Agreed. There were a lot of contributions from other players to make the comeback, but Woody was definitely one of them. He had some good defensive plays down low and showed good effort on the glass. He also made his free throws.

He'll play in the NBA some day. Kid has talent and yes, he does have passion too. He's not just a 7 foot body taking up space out there. Great to see a Hawk team with some passion in players and coaching, unlike some sports I will not name.

Woodbury, for having the appearance of a rather slight seven footer, is a battler out there. The kid has got an edge to him.

didn't see him a lot in HS, but don't remember him being quite this animated. must be those wild college co-eds.

I am so impressed so far with Woody as a player and his mentality. I really expected a lot of growing pains, despite his high recruiting ranking, but he has been improving rapidly and really brings a lot to the table as a player. His attitude and moxy is off of the charts for a young player.

Gesell is also terrific and Clemmons is not bad either. This team is getting deeper by the year in terms of players. The hard aspect now is how to get guys minutes.

There will still be some growing pains and outside shooting is going to be an issue at times. We are seeing constant z-defenses now so the kids will have to prove they can bust it. Some nights like the first half it could get ugly if we are not hitting from '3'.

Woody has proven his intensity and is emerging as a floor leader with his enthusiasm, not only that, he scored, rebounded and blocked shots and deflected shots with his intensity. Not only that, he made Two Free Throws in a row......

Nowhere to go but up......

Is 50/50 balls a new term in basketball. I have never heard it before......

Watching the replay on Mediacom right now.....

At halftime, I was just hoping we could catch up and only lose in single digits. I never imagined we would dominate like we did....

I've heard coaches use the term 50/50 balls before. I don't really hear it in casual rhetoric though

Aaron White and the entire team contributed to the comeback and win. The thing with Aaron is that after last season, we expect greatness, so when he plays that way, one tends to think: That's just Aaron doing his thing. He is truly essential to this team.....
