Woody, Gessel, and Clemmons have exceeded expectations

That's my read so far. Gessel has been outstanding, Clemmons has a better offensive game than he was billed for, and Woody is unbelievably skilled. Its going to be a lot of fun watching these guys progress. Gessel and Woody in particular are going to be discussed as the best ever at their ppositions.

I agree. I think people had overly high expectations for 2 of these guys coming in, but they have played better than I thought they would. It's going to be a steep learning curve for these guys as the season goes on, but they are going to be really good players for the next few years. I think by the end of the year we can put Ingram in this group as well. he's going to be a good one too.

Holy crap people. Learn to spell the names of the players on the team. It's GESELL......for the 3,423,596th time.

I think next year will be a special season. The freshmen will have a year under their belts and hopefully Jok can come in and be a big shooter for us. Really like what I see in the new players.

I don't know if outstanding is the word I'd use. He definitely is getting transitioned to this level of play like most freshman, but there have been several teaching moments for him. I actually have been more impressed with Clemmons myself.

I actually have been more impressed with Clemmons myself, especially the last few games. The beginning of the year it looked like Anthony would come out tight and commit a stupid turnover and Gesell would come out looking smooth. Now that we've played a couple tougher teams Gesell seems to have gotten a bit flustered and maybe isn't confident right now while Clemmons has been getting more and more comfortable as he's played.
