right now Gesell and team not looking very good. Rumor has it there is turmoil on the team with a fight breaking out recently leading to a 1 game suspension for a player. Gesell was hot yesterday, so hopefully he breaks out again.

Gessel looked smaller than I anticipated. I think he is going to have adjustment period with mature physical guards that have good footspeed. His footspeed looked pretty good and his explosion came through at times.

I like that he can shoot off the bounce pretty well. He's going to be far more dangerous off ball screens than any player we've had recently. Go under the screen he'll pull up. Just try to fight through the screen, and he'll penetrate into the lane and can pass or finish. Switch the screen, he appears heady enough to make the proper pass.

His ability to shoot off the dribble should give the offense a dimension it hasn't had.

SC East getting hammered. Down 20 with 3 mins left in the half. Woodbury pretty ineffective; suppporting cast is pretty terrible. West looks good.
