Woodbury misses cut?

Neither of the Harrison twins made it either.
Wisc signee Dekker is still in the mix.
They still have to cut two more players.

Is Dekker the athletic white kid that played in the same all star game as the Hawkeye kids?

Yeah, real skinny-ish. I don't remember him passing the eyeball test but on the court he was super impressive. Reminded me a lot of Iowa's White, but better.

Hard to call him better in an all star game setting but if that's the kid he looked like he could cause some match up problems.

That statement about the forwards being versatile basically tells you the story. Clearly they didn't want a guy who was going to be locked into one position on the front line and by the looks of the roster, they got what they wanted.

Not a center in the group.

That being said, it will take Adam some time to develop his game for the next level. He will need to get stronger and learn how to play a little taller than he currently plays, even at his height.

He is a top 20 five star recruit. Sorry to say but everyone outside of Iowa City is pretty sure he is better than White. The kid is a monster, and the only thing that will slow him down is Bo Ryan.

Yeah but Uthoff will kick his @ss, that is if he has not left for the NBA by the time Uthoff plays. :D

Should be fun to watch. They look alot like the same player, both 6-8 and play from the outside in. Dekkar just looks so good when you see him play though, and I have only seen Uthoff versus Iowa level competition. Dekkar looks like Robbie Hummel with good knees.

Looks like something... (fwiw - I can't believe this is the best pic ESPN could attain)

Isnt it amazing that every white kid that appears to have some talent is compared to either Hummel or Hayward? Let's have this discussion after he's played a BIG season or two. High School is one thing. D1 is another.

What?! I had Woodbury slated as the B1G Newcomer of the Year! Well i guess i will go back to my earlier predictions of 8th man award.
