Woodbury grilled on Internet; team feels differently

I would rather not see comments like this by any of the players. Stop addressing the Internet talk and stop worrying about what the fans are saying is my vote!

You aren't stupid Shane; are you not a fan? ;)
Long Answer: What was that saying in "Men in Black" when Tommy Lee Jones is explaining why the general public can't find out that we're co-existing with aliens? Something to the effect of,"A person is smart, people are stupid"!?!? Same thing when it comes to fans, Talent!

Short Answer: You damn right! On BOTH counts! :D

Nice try. Just show me the post where I agreed to bet, after that little change in terminology. You must think I'm as stupid as your mother. She should have swallowed you!

Read the thread, dude. You claimed 10 conference games. He claimed 15 games. The link he included spelled it out exactly.

Here is my edited post. Clearly an effort was made to get Woodbury the ball. I'm done defending the point. I provided evidence that paints most of the geniuses in this thread as the clowns they are. You shouldn't go rushing right in to join them.

So let me get this straight. You've got Woody down for three touches in the first four minutes. He tallied a bucket and an assist with those touches, and getting him touches was a bad idea?

I don't see any reason to criticize. I knew he would be another inside player with 5 fouls to give as a freshman. This year he's hitting free throws, playing solid defense, running the floor well and does some things I like around the basket when he gets a touch on offense. Next year should result in a significant positive step forward. I love having him on the team and knowing he has 2 more years as a Hawk.

I also see no reason to criticize. What we have got out of AW is about what I expected.

I like Payne too...except for the part about how he doesn't play for us. I wonder if he's related to Michael and Cully...one of Iowa's forgotten about "Father-Son" combos since Cully transferred out...

Woody has definitely improved since last season, Shooting free throws and playing more composed and less awkward. At times you can see how good he is going to be offensively with his soft hooks. There are a few time Gesell gets the ball to him in the paint and he is open and lays it off the backboard. His D is very effective and he seems to be a leader on defense. He is coming along nicely......
