Woodbury Gessell play tonight

"The 6-foot 2-inch Gesell thrilled a partisan South Sioux City crowd by winning the opening tip against Woodbury."

I don't know whether to be impressed with Gessell or mystified that woodbury could lose a tip to a 6'2" guard.

Probably a short Ref. I have seen that before where a short Ref throws the ball and a littler guy can quick tip it.

Yeah wtf adam

I really hope they called a foul on the play that was in the picture from the article. Gessell was really high on that play though. Better hops than I thought

It happens. Remember Greg Helmers? I just barely missed getting a tip with him in high school and I'm 6'1". I know it's a bad comparison cuz he really was bad. But he did sit on the bench at Iowa.

Cool story, bro!!!
