Woodbury and Meyer

I wonder if Woodbury's anxious with the rumors of Meyer's potential commitment. I would think Fran would want to go with a juco big and a true frosh big next year.

IF Woodbury is "anxious" about Meyer, thenn he is not the type of player Iowa wants. Fran is going to recruit players who think they can come in and play right away. Most probably they wont but you want the type of player who thinks he can play quickly and isnt concerned about who else is recruited.

I have not seen anything about Woodbury to think he is concerned about other recruits and I hope he is type of player Fran wants.

If I have the choice I will take the kid from Georgia playing major AAU ball. Over the Iowa kid everyday of the week.

Woodbury was extremely soft against 6 footers at state. He appears to be athletic but stands around a lot. Not sure he is a difference maker at the next level.
